As the Owner and Systems Engineer, Ben brings over 15 years of experience in the information technology field, having worked across a diverse range of industries including banking, government, utilities, healthcare, construction, and manufacturing. His expertise spans small and mid-size businesses, making him a versatile and knowledgeable IT professional.

Ben has obtained several prestigious certifications, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert in Private Cloud and Server Infrastructure, Cisco Certified Network Associate and Design Associate, and VMware Certified Professional in Data Center Virtualization. These credentials reflect his commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and ensuring that his clients receive top-tier service.

Rooted Technology Solutions was born out of Ben’s passion for problem-solving and his desire to share his extensive experience with local businesses. The name “Rooted” is inspired by Colossians 2, which speaks to being “rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith.” This scripture serves as the foundation for Ben’s business philosophy, guiding him to operate with integrity, excellence, and a commitment to honoring Jesus Christ in all aspects of his work.

Outside of his professional life, Ben is a devoted husband to his wife, Amy Jo, and a proud father to their four children. The Jones family resides in Fairhope, Alabama, where they are deeply rooted in their community.
